Dima Khatib ((アラビア語:ديمة الخطيب)) is a Syrian-born Palestinian 〔http://www.dimakhatib.com/〕 journalist. Since 1997, she has worked as a correspondent, producer, and Latin America Bureau Chief for the Al Jazeera network. Khatib speaks eight languages (Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, German). Prior to her work with Al Jazeera, Khatib has worked for Swiss Radio International in Bern. During the Iraq War, she worked as a live news producer in Doha. She gave an interview to CNN's Larry King and Wolf Blitzer, and was featured in ''Control Room'', a 2004 documentary film about Al Jazeera and its coverage of the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
